The commuter chariot, a 1990 Volvo 740 GL with 230000 miles and a 5 speed manual. Bought it last night for $700 and ended up putting about 200 miles on it.
The sc400 is now fully a project, mostly because I need to dump around $100 to get a new battery and some gas in the tank. Once that moneys spent I need to figure out why the ECU is getting no power aswell as why the efi relay is doing nothing, YaY. Also bent one of the rims so badly that it unseated the bead about 20 miles before abandoning it due to electrical issues. So now I have one usable 350z rim, I guess its back to the no name aftermarket ones that crack and obviously trailer rims on the back.
It broken down on the side of the road for the umpteenth time.
Back to the Volvo, when I went to see it it wouldnt start because it had a low tank, so they put more fuel in it and rolled it out of their driveway at which point it started. The suspected problem is the fuel filter due to the car being able to start fine with a full tank, Ill find out later this week. But either way this things exactly what I need, its also the first car Ive ever drivin that tracks straight on the highway which was nice.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

My Brother has a 91 740 he wants me to buy. I actually really want it, but then my wife and I would have to make the 22hr drive home, from Maine to Wi in two cars. It has a really cool Vovlo of Boston dealer badge though, I might just steal that.
